On Monday, February 12th, OFSC
President Bruce Robinson and his wife Liz started their 7 day
snowmobile trip in various Districts of the OFSC. It was with great
pleasure that District 3 welcomed them to Tweed for the start of their
trip. They were accompanied on the Tweed trails by members from Tweed,
Percy Boom River Rats, SOSSA and Centre Hastings clubs. Members from
each club guided them through the trails pertaining to that club. Once
in Warkworth they met up with the Great Pine Ridge Club and headed for
the prearranged lunch spot. After lunch they headed for Bewdley
meeting up with members from Ganaraska and Long Sault. A ride in the
Ganaraska Forest trails was arranged by that club and then all headed
to the Long Sault clubhouse for a delicious steak dinner provided by
the District and served by the Long Sault volunteers. All in all a
great day with great riding. More to follow on the Tuesday ride.
